Data in the app
Food categories, prices, notes, weight, body fat and any height, sex or birth year you choose to enter are stored locally. Your iPhone and Apple Watch sync directly through WatchConnectivity, and widgets read a local summary. We do not operate a backend that receives these records.
Reminders and estimates
Reminders are scheduled on your device without a push server. Body details are optional and used for local BMI and body-fat estimates. Estimates are not a diagnosis or a substitute for advice from a clinician or dietitian.
Backups, exports and deletion
The app does not provide iCloud data sync. JSON backup and restore are available under Me → Data, including in the free version; CSV access follows the features shown in the app. JSON and CSV exports are not encrypted and may contain body details. Store them securely and share only with people you trust. Uninstalling or clearing records does not delete separately saved files, watch data or system backups; manage those separately. System transfers and backups follow your Apple settings.
Purchases and intended users
Apple handles in-app purchases and payment details. Fanfou is not directed to children under 13. BMI and body-fat estimates use adult standards.
Advertising and tracking
The apps and these website pages do not include advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
Website and support email
Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. To deliver pages and protect network security, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, requests and network information under its Privacy Policy. This does not mean the app uploads its local records. When you email us, we receive the address and content you provide to answer and handle your support request. Avoid sending unnecessary health, location or intimate records. Contact the same address to request deletion of information you supplied by email.
